JH Volleyball and Football today vs. So. Central. Volleyball in GS gym 4:00 B team, 5:00 A team, HS gym 6:00 C team. Football starts at 6:30. Only the north entrance to the FB field will be open. Children need to sit with parents during the games please. Good luck Wildcats!
Progress is being made on the new Grade School! Temporary walls have been installed so the food storage room and the JH bathrooms could be removed. Dirt work is taking place where the new building will be located. Exciting things happening at USD 219!
The new track that is fully funded by the Wind Tower proceeds is making progress. The old track has been removed and the new base layer will be installed soon. Looking forward to seeing the final product!

Friendly reminder: Grandparent forms are due back to school tomorrow. Afternoon PreK is invited to come in the morning and celebrate with us. We will assign adoptive grandparents to those students who don't have one. We look forward to seeing you next week.

Grandparents are invited to the school Fri., Sept. 6th, to celebrate. Registration is at 8:15 at the GS. We will finish before 11:00. "Substitute” grandparents will behere for those that need one. Forms were sent home. Please return by Tues., Aug. 27.

Minneola Cheerleaders are hosting a Cheer Camp! Sept. 28, 3-5 yr olds 10:00-Noon, 6 yr olds - 6th grade 8:00-Noon. 2nd Practce date is Oct. 7, 6:00-7:30. Registration is $20 and includes snack, shirt, and camp fees. Registration is due Sept. 16. Performance Oct. 10 and 18th.
Picture day is tomorrow! (8/20/24) 8am individual pictures. 3pm Fall sports pictures.

Senior poster pics by Jen Godfrey Photography, Tuesday the 20th 7-8pm! Booster Club pays for 1/2 the price of one poster! If your Senior is interested in participating, it’s appreciated if you would send an email to rsvp to tiff8176@gmail.com by Monday the 19th! This is for all sports and other activities for the entire year! Seniors are in charge of bringing jerseys, equipment, instruments, ect.. whatever they want in their pictures. Bring check/cash and order form to pictures, pics must be paid for that evening.

I have great news! The Recreation Commission has offered to purchase the JH athletic t-shirts for us this year. On the form that was sent home it says that it will be $20.00. Please fill it out and send it back to school this week with your 6-8th grade student. You do not have to send money. Thank the Rec. Commission!
Lunch changes 24-25: Grades 3-12 will be offered 2 options for the entree. They will choose hot lunch or salad bar. If they choose hot lunch and then want salad bar, they will be allowed a 2nd milk, dessert, and be charged full price for the 2nd meal. Prices: Grades K-4 $3.10, Grades 5-15 $3.20, Second entree $1.80
